Your rank is loaded while connecting to your Riot Account. Then ranks will be updated once a day during night time.

As a cost-saving measure we are relaying heavily on cache, so there may be up to 2 hours of delay between linking your Riot Account in our application and other players seeing your rank.

Yes, davout extension code is public and available for you to see. Sign in with twitch and Link Riot account are dedicated options provided by Twitch and Riot for third party applications to ensure safe integration. We do not know anything about your credentials.
